Stainless steel nylock nuts, also known as nylon insert lock nuts or nyloc nuts, are self-locking hex nuts designed to resist loosening caused by vibration, movement, and repeated assembly loads. A nylon insert inside the nut creates prevailing torque when engaged with the bolt thread, helping maintain a secure fastening connection in machinery, equipment, marine, and outdoor applications.

Nylon insert lock nuts are suitable for vibration-resistant fastening in many industrial applications. For high-temperature environments or applications where nylon inserts are not suitable, all-metal lock nuts may be recommended.

For lightweight or special corrosion-resistant projects, titanium and other special materials can also be supplied according to requirements.
